Where do you go when you need encouragement? Who do you turn to when you need comfort or support? At times, all of us need a refreshing word, a nudge to keep going or a whisper of hope. God’s Word is a great place to go and find refreshment. It is there we find rivers of living water.

Jesus said in John 7:38 (NLT), “Anyone who believes in Me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”

Jesus encourages those who are thirsty to come to Him and drink. He is a loving Father, and as such, He gave us a helper, the Holy Spirit. He wants us to lay down the troubles eating our soul. His desire is for us to rest, relax and drink until we are satisfied. His living water brings the dead to life as there we find hope and encouragement. 

Jesus did not leave us as orphans. He gave us His peace. John 14:27 

As our thirst is quenched we become vessels overflowing with living water to offer to others.  2 Corinthians 1:4 (NLT)

The next time you feel parched, head to the place where you find living water. Open your Bible or your Bible App. Turn on Christian music. Download a sermon. Ask the Holy Spirit to satiate your soul with truth and love. In no time, you will experience the fullness of a Spirit-filled life!
