LIVE // God’s response to Hagar—in the middle of a painful and difficult situation—was this: “I see you.” Now, this may not sound like it would’ve helped her much, but you know what? Hagar noticed. This verse says Hagar “saw” God in the middle of her situation. Now, she probably didn’t actually SEE God; what she really means is that she felt His presence, comfort, and peace. God saw Hagar, and He sees you, too. Are you facing a painful or difficult situation right now? God sees you. Lean into that truth and soon you’ll experience His presence, comfort, and peace, too.
