Welcome to part 6 of Parkview’s Bible reading journey of reading 1,000,000 chapters of the Bible. We are well on our way to accomplishing our goal of reading all these chapters and we’re grateful for you in helping us finish strong on this journey.

This reading plan starts in Psalm 78. The book of Psalms in the Old Testament and is a collection of songs put together by the Jewish people for worship to God. Songs are important because music often helps truth take root in a powerful way.

In Psalm 78 notice how the song tells most of the story of the Old Testament and God’s interaction with His people. When you read through this Psalms and the other Psalms that follow, think about how God has interacted with His people and how he is interacting with you in your life. What has God been impressing on your heart lately? What are some things that God may want you to be doing or focusing on?
