1,000,000 Chapters – Part 7Sample
Maria Augusta von Trapp says, “Music acts like a magic key, to which the most tightly closed heart opens.”
Psalm 89 kicks off this reading plan with some of the most incredible descriptions of God found in the Bible. It is in listening to the words of this song and the others that follow that your heart can be opened to learn who God is and what we need to be reminded about Him.
To help what you read take root in your life, ask yourself these 6 simple questions after you’re done reading:
1. What stood out to me from what I read?
2. Was there anything confusing or troubling?
3. Did anything make me think differently about God?
4. Based on what I just read, am I making wise decisions?
5. How can I become more like Jesus today?
6. What is God asking me to do today?
Go ahead and take a screen shot of these questions and refer to them every day after you do your reading.

About this Plan
This is the seventh part of Parkview Christian Church’s series to read 1,000,000 chapters of the Bible together. There is nothing that equips or invites the Church to live like Jesus more than reading the Bible. The pages of the Bible capture God’s story and lead those who dare to read it to live out His story for today. That’s why Parkview is making the challenge to our church to collectively read 1,000,000 chapters of the Bible together. Will you join us on the journey?
