THE GOD OF PEACE AND HOPE - DAY 3
In The Wizard of Oz, the path to the Emerald City is clearly marked by a lovely yellow brick road. All that Dorothy and her companions have to do is follow it. As the story progresses, we see that staying on the path is not as easy as it sounds. Whether from internal temptations or outside forces, the travelers face many obstacles and decisions along the way.
There is no doubt that God has specific plans and purposes for your life. But the "God path" for each of us individually is not just a linear yellow brick road. God, “will not let your foot slip.” This means that if we make a wrong turn and we step off the God path for our lives, God can always correct it. The God path can transform and grow with our every move, good or bad, and lead us back to His will.
Our Lord can and will always make the best of our decisions as long as we invite Him to. It is never too late to get back on the God path.

About this Plan
In his ‘Letter to Marcellinus’, Athanasius of Alexandria (4c) said, “Most Scripture speaks to us; the Psalms speak for us." This devotional contains a selection from the Psalms. Through these selections, we hope to show that nothing is off limits when it comes to prayer. Anything and everything, even things that come from the darkest parts of our hearts, can be brought to God. He listens!
