Trusting God: A Prayer JourneySample
Trusting God’s Competence
Recognise the situations where you are tempted to doubt God’s ability to do what he has said. Declare that God’s arm is not too short.
In Numbers 11 we find Moses despondent and ready for death. He cannot see how God can possibly deliver on the promise to provide meat for a month because he limits God's intervention to the ways meat has been provided in the past – flocks and herds. Is the Lord's arm too short? No! If God has said it, it will happen, though the provision of quail shows that he may do it in ways we cannot imagine.
