God's Not Dead: In God We TrustExemplo
DAY 5: The Commandments Condensed
Know this: God doesn’t want our lives to be complicated. He knows life is best when lived simply. So, to keep ourselves from distractions that won’t matter in the light of eternity, let’s try our best to keep our schedules, homes, and lives, in general, uncluttered. Material possessions, too many activities, and lifestyles that don’t honor God will only bring frustration and unnecessary difficulties into our journey.
Take a moment now to ask Him for help if you’re struggling. He is always listening, and He will answer. He’ll impress your mind with ways to simplify and improve.
Clean hands and a pure heart. This is how Jesus lived, and He desires we do the same. Remember and be comforted knowing God wants us to experience abundant life and daily victories, no matter our circumstances.
As the words in Proverbs 24:3-5 (AMP) ask and answer: “Who may ascend onto the mountain of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to what is false, nor has sworn [oaths] deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.”
It’s not always easy, but it’s always best. So be encouraged. We can do it when our focus remains on Him, and He remains our Center. When we focus and let the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:8-9 guide our thinking, God has promised us His peace. It’s probably one we should commit to memory, too!

Jesus embodied servant leadership, humbly serving others and sacrificing Himself for the greater good, as should we, His followers. The biggest faith-movie franchise returns with an exceptionally relevant look at the challenges involved when private citizens feel called to stand up in the political arena. God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust addresses issues such as freedom, separation of church and state, and citizen responsibilities.
