The Truth Project Scriptural DevotionExemplo
God has not left Himself without a witness. The universe is alive with voice that speaks of His mercy and grace. His goodness and power peer out at us from behind the thinly glimmering veil of sea and sky. Stars and flowers alike proclaim His undying love. If the little children fall silent, the rocks themselves will cry out so that no one can enter a mitigating plea of ignorance. No one can say, "I am not responsible for what I have seen and heard," however little or much. Am I alive or dead to the voice of God in the created world?
There is no place, O God, where I can go to flee from Your presence. In the uttermost parts of the sea, in the depths of hell, in the darkest reaches of interstellar space. You are there (PSA.139.7-12). Nevertheless, without moving an inch, I can close my ears to what the cosmos tell me about Your invisible Truth. Draw me to Yourself and deliver me from the icy prison of my own self-imposed silence and ignorance.
