Growing in the Knowledge of GodExemplo
Close Fellowship
“And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord.” (Jeremiah 31:34)
Truly, even amidst our uncertainties, we know the Lord. Today, this promise is evident in our lives, and it holds significant weight. Every believer among us knows God through Christ Jesus. Perhaps not to the extent we yearn for, but genuinely and tangibly, we know the Lord. It's not merely an understanding of doctrines about Him; we have a personal acquaintance with Him. He is our Father and our Friend. We enjoy close fellowship with Him, spending many joyful moments in His holy presence. We are no longer strangers to our God; instead, the mysteries of the Lord are revealed to us.
This knowledge surpasses what human nature alone could impart. Our understanding of God is not revealed by human means; it's Christ Jesus who has introduced the Father to our hearts. Therefore, if the Lord has granted us this knowledge of Himself, isn't it the wellspring of all true understanding? Knowing God is synonymous with eternal life. The moment we come to know God, we have the assurance of being infused with new life. Therefore, my soul, rejoice in this knowledge, and spend this day blessing your God!
