Real Hope: Why Jesus Came to EarthExemplo
Seek And Save The Lost
Listen to Irresponsible by J. Monty and Judah.
‘And I just wanna say I’m sorry
For running in circles with my sin and shame
When You told me to run to Your love.
And I just wanna say that I’m grateful
For all of the ways You’ve never left me behind
Oh, how irresponsible Your love
And I just wanna praise Your name for
All the ways You keep chasing my heart
Oh, how irresponsible Your love.’
Luke 19:10 (NLV) says, ‘For the Son of Man came to look for and to save from the punishment of sin those who are lost’.
I have so often heard this verse used in the context of missions and/or evangelism. While true, this song reminds me that salvation is only the beginning.
Every day, in our own ways, we are running towards and away from Jesus. As we walk with Jesus it is so encouraging to know that no matter how long or short our journey with Him has been, He is ALWAYS keeping an eye out for us, ready to go looking for us again if we wonder off or get distracted on the journey.
It also reminds me of the grace, patience and persistence that we need to cultivate in our hearts as we interact with each other. I’m guilty of the exacerbated, ‘How many more times do I have to…?’ but the answer (with Jesus by my side) is one more time than the last one. Keep praying, keep hoping, keep believing, keep standing with people in their lost state, until they can find liberation in Jesus.

I’m often overwhelmed at how much God loves us. His heart is for His people to have freedom and restoration, and He sent His Son to make a way for us. (To Do The Father's Work - Leila Armstrong).
