"Trying Again" After Miscarriage & Pregnancy LossExemplo
Day II: A Different Kind of Faith
It can be effortless to trust God with something when you've seen the outcome in the past.
For instance:
- I've not had a job I needed.
- I've always had a place to live, something to eat, and someone to depend on.
- I've always found a solution to a health issue (Even if it wasn't the one I wanted).
- I've never seen Him not open up incredible opportunities for me.
He has been faithful with much.
But this was different for me—the one thing I had yet to see. The one thing I prayed for that didn't turn out as expected. The one thing I wanted my whole life was given and taken away. How do I trust God with something I've had so many disappointments with?
I won't act as if I know the answer to this question. However, I will tell you what happened after the conversation between my husband and me in the next few days. Hopefully, that will help you along this faith journey of "trying again."
Reflection: What is something you've asked God for that you haven't seen come to fruition? What is different about trying for a baby again from your past requests?
