Walk Through The Bible 365 - SeptemberExemplo
Marriage Purity
Sex is a good gift from God. The Bible does not say sex itself is sin. Some religions downgrade sex as dirty or unspiritual. Today, the world common view is influenced by Hollywood movies that sex is part of our human physical needs like hunger, and when people feel hungry, they eat, when they feel thirsty, they drink. It is based on the carnal desires of people. As a result in today’s society, purity of sexuality has become old-fashioned.
But God designed sex for a covenant (one man and one woman) marriage relationship only. It is not for singles. The Apostle Paul said that if you are called to be single, then you are called to be virgin.
Prayer: Father Lord, we are a temple of God, help us to follow your standard, not world views. Help us keep our eyes on your son Jesus and deliver us from temptations. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
