21 Days to Finding Eternal Purpose in Your Daily WorkExemplo

21 Days to Finding Eternal Purpose in Your Daily Work

Dia 19 de 21

Today’s verse (Ephesians 3:20) reminds us of this truth: That it is God, not us, who produces results through our work. In the words of Paul, it is “[God’s] power that is at work within us” as we go to work each day.

Because of that—and the peace the gospel provides in success or failure—we should be the boldest professionals on the planet. We should be the entrepreneurs who take the biggest risks to create businesses that serve others well. We should be the artists and writers who take the biggest swings to spread messages of hope and redemption. We should be the employees who are the most driven in our workplaces—not because we are seeking more income or attention, but because we want to do our most exceptional work for the glory of God and the good of others.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a writer, a teacher, a stay-at-home-dad, or a designer, you have an unfair advantage. You have the Creator God who is “able to do immeasurably more” than you can imagine dwelling within you!

Do your goals reflect that truth? Do your prayers for your work, co-workers, and industry show you believe this to be true?

Our work matters deeply to God and others. May those truths lead you to work with the utmost boldness today!
