Have you heard or even used the phrases in your life, "No one is...?" (fill in the dots) or "Everyone is ....?(fill in the dots) Nothing new under the sun as we read the Psalmist's cry. Spiderman, Superman, Batman, or any other hero cannot compare to the word when we read, "'...I will now arise', says the Lord." Who is He going to rescue? The poor, needy, and He will give them protection. Can we be sure? Absolutely! Read the promise for He never ever breaks a promise or fails so we can trust Him at His Word.
Prayer: We acknowledge Your loving promises, Lord, and we thank you for protecting the poor and needy. We need your help, protection, safety, and assurance. We honor Your Word for we believe it is True and Powerful. May Your will be done. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
