Healing from people pleasing is just another form of dying to self. 

If I want to please man, then I am placing my own needs above God’s. Dying to myself daily means placing God’s needs every day above my own. 

However, People pleasing is usually rooted in deeper wounds, whether stemmed from childhood or adulthood – like rejection, abandonment, loneliness, or a desire to feel a sense of belonging. 

God wants to heal and deliver you from people pleasing and this will include healing the root.

Give to God all your wounds, even the ones from childhood that you never discussed. Allow his healing power to flow through your veins, searching even the deepest wound and scar that has now become your normal. 

Don’t believe the lie that some scars are permanent. Though it may have happened in your life and will always be a part of your story, it’s not meant to always be a scar. 

He doesn’t just heal it, his consuming fire burns it away completely, refining you and leaving you BRAND NEW.
