Kingdom Builders: How to Live an "All In" LifeExemplo
Building in Uncertain Seasons
Embracing a lack of control requires high trust. So much fear is being thrown at the whole world right now. The fear of what “might” happen can cause people to make unwise decisions. We need to build upon God’s certain promises, not the world’s uncertain predictions.
Are you feeling like you are sacrificing a lot right now? Troubles will come, but it’s not the end of your story. The question is, are you putting yourself first or God first? During uncertain seasons, we must remember that it’s not all about the money; it’s about the condition of the heart. Our capacity (what we can give) to be generous may change in crisis, yet our conviction (values and absolutes) regarding generosity remains the same.
God always turns up in crisis. Keep on being faithful with what is in your hand right now. The world may say it’s all doom and gloom, but the Word of God shows us that we can experience unprecedented blessing in the midst of, and as a result of, unprecedented crisis. You will eventually look back and realize that you were positioned perfectly.
Crisis reveals what you were already putting in place before the crisis. It’s all about living a disciplined life. Are you reading your Bible daily? Are you praying with your spouse or close friends daily? Are you reflecting on your dreams and goals daily?
Today, remember that there is always hope in a crisis. Take heart: you can still fruitfully emerge from tough times even if you have made unwise choices. Embrace this God-life. If you get your life right, take that next faith step, and trust in Him, He’ll take care of you. You’ll then be able to build in every season, even in the uncertain ones.
