Be Strong in the LordExemplo
Harden Not Your Heart
“Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:” Psalms 95:8 KJV
When the tests and trials seem to overtake you choose to focus on Christ. When the wilderness season seems like it’s never going to end choose to be strong in the Lord and focus on His strength. When the dry season seems unbearable choose to meditate on God’s word.
Psalms 1:2-3 KJV declares, “But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Choose to diligently meditate on His word. Meditate on His promises. Meditate on His word in every season of your life, and your leaf will not wither.
Stay planted. Choose to let God bring forth His fruit in due season. Let His power flow through the work of your hands. Let His word cultivate the ground of your heart. Dwell on His word and let it saturate every area of your heart. Choose to let His word sharpen you. Choose to let His word lead you and guide your thoughts and actions.
Let His word shift your way of thinking. Let His word pierce the ground of your heart. Don’t let your heart grow weary. Don’t let bitterness infiltrate the ground of your heart. Choose to surrender and obey God. Be strong in the Lord and follow His blueprint.
