The Life of Jesus, Part 2 (2/10)Exemplo
I wonder who Jesus is….
I believe many people are interested in Jesus. At least his name is often used. Unfortunately, often as a word without thinking or as a curse. But deep inside most people want to know more about him.
Maybe you’re also curious to know more about Christianity? You don’t believe it, but you see things that catch your attention. Who is this Jesus? He does miracles and seems to be different from any other human being.
You are not the only one. Many people are searching. And even in the Bible, people wanted to know more about him. Let’s take a look at this part of Jesus’ life.
In the Bible, an important religious leader Nicodemus, has this same interest. He wants to ask Jesus questions, but doesn’t dare to do so in public, afraid to jeopardize his reputation. He visits Jesus at a secret location in the evening.
Maybe you are searching in the same way. Not in front of your friends, but secretly on the internet. That is okay! Jesus loves your curiosity. And the message Jesus shares is amazing. Many people see Christianity as a religion full of judgment and rules. But read this part of the story:
For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not die but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to be its savior.
Jesus is talking about himself, when he spoke these words. He has come to give eternal life and not to condemn people. He comes to save. Do you want to know more?
