She Is Strong And CourageousExemplo
Trust God - Jochebed, Mother of Moses
Lord, enlighten my mind with truth as I seek inspiration and guidance from your Word.
Observe When you get anxious, do you go into control mode—thinking of all the ways you can fix your problems? Sometimes we even try to fix everyone else’s problems as well. In stressful times like these, the Lord will often remind us to relax because he has everything under control.
We can trust God with our lives and the lives of those we love. We can be confident he knows best, can handle our problems, and will work all things together for good (Romans 8:38). There’s no need to worry. After all, worrying never improves our situation; it wastes our time, and it can wreak havoc on our health.
God will never lead us astray and will always lead us the best way!
Trusting God ushers in hope (Jeremiah 29:11), brings comfort (2 Corinthians 1:4), provides clarity (Proverbs 3:6), grants confidence (Proverbs 14:26), gives reassurance (Romans 10:11), supplies security (Psalm 91), and produces peace (Philippians 4:6–7). Therefore, we must trust God instead of ourselves. We must trust God rather than other people. And trust God in spite of our circumstances.
Jochebed, mother to three gifted leaders during Israel’s Exodus, trusted God’s providence, protection, and love. Desperate to fight for the life of her baby boy, Moses, she put him in a wicker basket and courageously hid him along the bank of the Nile River. Jochebed trusted God and his plan for her son’s life.
