These are unprecedented times for those of us who are alive on planet earth at this moment. Historically, we can find hope if we turn to the One who made it all and is Lord of all. What does the Bible say about why these things happen, what is God’s response to it, and what is my hope in life and death?

Emotions—love them or hate them—we’ve all got them. And we’ve all got to figure out what to do with them. But wait. Can we do anything about emotions? Conheço amigos, irmãos da igreja e até membros da minha família que vivem extremamente ansiosos, correm demais, vivem cansados, não têm tempo para família, tão pouco para Deus. No entanto, eles não conseguem prosperar de forma alguma, espiritual, emocional ou materialmente, porque esquecem de como é “Caminhar com Jesus”.

Deus não parou de dar e abençoar só porque escolhemos associarmo-nos ao pecado e ao mal deste mundo. Foi neste caos que Deus deu o Seu presente supremo: o Seu próprio Filho! E por meio do Seu Filho, Deus deu-nos o perdão e a vida eterna!
