I powiedziała Noemi do swych dwóch synowych: Idźcie, niech każda z was powróci do domu swojej matki. Niech PAN sprawi, aby każda z was znalazła pokój w domu swego męża. I pocałowała je, a one podniosły głosy i zapłakały. I mówiły do niej: Wrócimy raczej z tobą do twego ludu. A one znowu podniosły głosy i zaczęły płakać.
