You Are Gifted: Contributing

Do you think of yourself as a gifted person? One of the precious gifts God places in people is the spirit of generosity. The Bible says, “We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If someone’s gift is . . . contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously” (Romans 12:6,8).

God’s wonderful Word helps us to see that all our possessions are loans from the Ultimate Owner. God’s wonderful Spirit helps us to find joy in sharing and in investing in other people. Part of offering ourselves as a living sacrifice is to find joy in contributing to the needs of other people, rather than just in our own appetites and pleasures.

So . . . can’t get no satisfaction? Exercise your gift of generosity!
