Called Into a New Day
God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day.
Genesis 1:5 (NLT)
What overwhelms you in this moment is conquered through the cross. And if you’re facing what seems like “the end,” you should know that in God’s plans for your life, it is your “beginning.” I turn night into day—the end of night is always the beginning of a new day. Do not be discouraged and do not be afraid. There is nothing I can’t do, and nothing can stop Me from accomplishing God’s purposes in your life—nothing. So, take heart, Jesus has overcome the world, even your world.
Know through your faith that whatever today brings, tomorrow is a new day. Rest assured that My compassion, My mercy, and My power are always abundant—great is God’s faithfulness, even when yours falls short. When you take each step of faith, don’t look behind you—move forward without fear. Keep your eyes upon Jesus—you never walk alone. And in your waiting, in your searching for answers, when you don’t know what to pray, I will pray for you, on your behalf; and all of heaven hears and moves. Right now, in the middle of where you are, I have begun something new; let My light help you to see that I am making a way through your wilderness, bringing about streams in your desert.
Called to Truth
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
