Someone Else's Worldਨਮੂਨਾ

"...present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:1-2 ESV
Mindset: a mental attitude or inclination, a fixed state of mind.
We have a fixed state of mind when it comes to our will vs. God's. We have to unlearn to relearn and release to embrace. We must self-evaluate and wonder if the abuses, rejections, and wounds from others have affected our will and decision-making.
Little kingdoms everywhere "seed" our minds. Whether it's personal defenses, podcasts, familial patterns, influencers, or entertainment, other worlds and kingdoms are fighting to plant something in us that we then superimpose onto others.
How do we combat our "seeded" minds?
A little weeding is required. Don't you love all of the Biblical gardening metaphors?
THINK ABOUT IT:
1. Who or what has seeded my mindset recently or in the distant past?
2. How has this seed affected the root of my belief system?
PRAYER PROMPT:
Father, uproot every seed in me that is not of Your Kingdom.

About this Plan

What if we traded our little worlds for the Eternal Kingdom, now and to come? Walk with us, line by line, through the Lord's Prayer as we begin to release our grip on how we think we should live and embrace how Jesus wants us to live.
