A Family of Connectionਨਮੂਨਾ

A family of connection helps each other.
We aren’t gardeners in our home but every once in a while my wife would get the desire to plant one or two fruit trees. We’ve had a few plants die along the way because we weren’t intentional with proper care. A family that helps one another is like a gardener caring for plants. The gardener knows that each plant needs water, sunlight, and proper care to grow and thrive. Without this attention, the plants would wither. Similarly, in a family, every member requires care, support, and encouragement. When we help one another, we nurture the emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of those we love, allowing everyone to flourish.
Jesus gave us the commandment to love one another as He loved us. This love is not just in words, but in actions. Helping each other in times of need reflects the love of Christ and strengthens the bond within the family. Just as a gardener is patient and gentle with the plants, we are called to support each other with humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in love. In doing so, we cultivate unity and peace.
The Bible teaches that two are better than one because when one falls, the other can help them up. In a family, no one should be left to face their struggles alone. Whether through advice, encouragement, or simply being there, our help provides strength. Like the plants growing stronger with care, our family relationships grow deeper when we serve one another in love.
Helping one another in a family not only brings growth but also reflects the grace and love of God, making the family a place of strength, warmth, and connection.
Question for your family: Who in your family needs your help more than the others in this season?
