Journey With Jesus 365ਨਮੂਨਾ

Jesus was doing a tremendous work of restoration and healing. The multitudes from all over followed after him. They pressed upon him just for the opportunity to touch Him. The passage says He ordained twelve “that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:” Luke 10 tells us that his disciples returned and marveled that even the devils were subject unto them through His Name. Jesus responded: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” God has given those who follow Him great power to do His will. But this pales in comparison to the fact that if you know Jesus, your name is written in heaven!
