Be for RealSample
Have you ever heard, “Practice makes perfect”? We usually think about this in terms of skills, like playing a sport or learning an instrument. For example, if we practice push-ups regularly, we’ll get stronger over time. The same is true for our character. Integrity—being honest, kind, and brave—also grows stronger with practice. Every time we choose to be honest or kind, we build those habits for the future. But if we let ourselves slip into dishonesty, it becomes easier to make those same choices when it matters most.
Today, think about the kind of person you want to become. Write down some words that you want to be true of you, like honest, brave, or kind. Then, look for ways to practice those qualities this week. When bigger challenges come, you’ll already be prepared to respond with integrity.
