Sub-book 3 ends with a plea to God to remember His covenant promises, particularly His promise to David that He would establish his throne forever. Sub-book 4 shifts the emphasis to honoring God as King. It starts with Moses' reminder of the shortness of human life contrasted with God’s perspective from eternity. A series of enthronement psalms celebrate the LORD as the true King over all the earth.
