Yesterday, I shared how I found myself sitting in the darkest moment of my life, unsure if I would ever be whole again. The darkness felt all-consuming, and I doubted everything—including God. But what happened next changed everything for me, and I want to share that with you today because it’s a moment that can change your life too.

It was an ordinary morning, just like any other. I was going through my routine—making coffee, getting breakfast ready, and preparing for the day ahead. Then, out of nowhere, something caught my attention: a worship song my dad had shared on social media. I clicked play and let it play in the background as I went about my morning. It was a familiar song, but this time, something was different. As the lyrics washed over me, my heart softened in a way I didn’t expect.

The words “There’s a place where sin and shame are powerless, where my heart has peace with God and forgiveness” pierced through the heaviness I’d been carrying. In that instant, I dropped to my knees. It wasn’t planned; it wasn’t something I had ever imagined would happen. But in that moment, I felt God’s presence envelop me like a warm blanket. His love didn’t just surround me—it consumed me, filling every broken place, every doubt, every fear.

It was a love unlike anything I had ever known. It wasn’t the kind of love that required anything from me. It was simply there—pure, powerful, and overwhelming. I realized right then that God didn’t just love me—He is love. His very nature is love, and that love had been chasing me, even when I couldn’t see it, even when I doubted it.

This is the same love that God has for you. He’s not waiting for you to “get it together” before He loves you. He loves you right now, just as you are. His love is patient, kind, and doesn’t keep a record of your wrongs. When you experience His love, it changes everything. It melts away fear and doubt, reminding you that you are not alone. You are cherished, deeply and completely.

The truth is, no matter how far you feel from God, His love is still reaching out to you. It’s not based on how good you’ve been or how much you feel worthy of it—it’s based on who God is. And He is love.
