Choose Simple Truth

We can expend so much time and energy looking for that one clever thing that will give us an edge in the marketplace. But often, the breakthrough idea we long for is found in choosing to be faithful to God’s simple truths for our lives.

Truth and authenticity are rare and precious commodities in today’s marketplace. As Christians operating in these environments, set free by Truth, we are in a unique place of influence. When we make Truth the hallmark of who we are in the marketplace, by the Grace and Love of Jesus Christ we get to be people of influence.

"Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth"(1 John 3:18).

Each day, as we get to operate in the environment that God has placed us, we get to make a choice. Will we show the world around us, by our actions, the simplicity of living by Truth?

We personally don’t always get this right…but every day in our business we endeavor to be people of our word. Every day:

• We choose to do what we said we would
• We choose to do it within the time we said we would
• We choose to do it for how much we said it would cost

While not particularly prescient, simply choosing each day to be people of our word will bring refreshing to a world wearied by mis-trust.

"But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No’…" (Matthew 5:37).

Sorry to disappoint those of you looking for a big breakthrough revelation…but our testimony is one of God’s Grace causing our business to consistently flourish, as we make the choice every day to be people of our word.

Choose today to be a person whose "yes" means "yes", and "no" means "no"…it is a precious commodity that the world cannot resist.
