21-Day Fast & Prayer Into & Through Your Next Season

DAY 2 OF 21

You know, when King Cyrus called the remnant to rebuild the temple, only those whose hearts were moved responded to the call. It's like they had a fire burning inside them, urging them to step up and do something amazing! It reminds me of what Isaiah prophesied about the temple being rebuilt. God had a plan all along!

Now, here's the thing: answering God's call may mean leaving behind thoughts, perspectives, and ideas we're used to. It can be uncomfortable, no doubt about it. But you know what? The best blessings come when we step out in faith, even when it feels uncomfortable.

You see, faith is all about being sure of what we hope for, even when we can't see it yet. It’s like having this deep conviction that God has something incredible in store for us, our loved ones, and our communities, even if it doesn't make sense in the moment.

So don't let what you see around you discourage you from answering God's call to rebuild through prayer and fasting! Trust that He has a purpose and a plan. Step out in faith, leave behind what's comfortable by renewing your mind, with the Holy Spirit helping you along the way, and watch as God uses you to do amazing things.

Partner up with the Holy Spirit in this rebuilding in the love and light of Jesus! You are capable, and God is with you every step of the way.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I surrender my comfort and desires to You. Remove any attachments to worldly thoughts, perspectives, and ideas that may hold me back from doing Your work. Give me the strength to embrace the difficulties and challenges that come with building Your kingdom. Help me not to be discouraged by the lack of enthusiasm or willingness from those around me. Instead, let me trust in Your plan and pray for them. In Jesus' name, Amen.
