Jonahਨਮੂਨਾ

"Ancient historians say that Nineveh was the foremost city in the world at that time. It was the large, important capital of a dominating empire – surely an intimidating place to go.” (Guzik) Put yourself in Jonah’s shoes today as you read and imagine God calling you to go to the person you may “hate” to offer them the best gift and be saved from the punishment you believe they deserve. How is God softening your heart in this area?

About this Plan

Jonah is a somewhat unique book because rather than focusing on Jonah's message, it focuses on his own story. In an age where many are deconstructing or questioning their faith because of perceiving God to be too strict, harsh, or un-loving (especially in the Old Testament), Jonah’s story stands as an example of God’s great love for humanity and redemptive purpose for the salvation of the whole world.
