Waiting on God With Your Finances: A 3-Day Journey

DAY 1 OF 3

Hey Friend!

If you’ve seen any other material from me, you might remember the story of that day my car broke down while I was 1,000 miles from home right before my 21st birthday. I thought I was living the dream, but really I was one car problem away from financial disaster.

Maybe you've been there too. I know it's tough when the bills are piling up, and your paycheck seems to disappear before you even get it. Maybe you're wondering how you'll make rent this month or if you'll ever be able to pay off that credit card debt. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and alone in these moments.

But let me encourage you today…

We often think financial stability is about hitting a certain number in our bank account. But what if it's more about trusting God's provision? Let's look at some powerful verses about God's ability to provide.

Philippians 4:19 reminds us that God will meet all our needs according to His riches.

In Matthew 6:26, Jesus points out that if God cares for the birds, how much more will He care for us?

And Psalm 34:10 assures us that those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

These aren't just nice words - they're promises from God.

But here's the thing: His provision often looks different than we expect.

And what if those financial challenges aren't there to break you but to build your faith?

Each time you face a money problem and see God come through, you're not just solving a financial issue - you're growing in trust!

Here’s something practical we can try today:

Start a "Provision Journal." Each day, let’s write down one way we see God providing for us, no matter how small. It'll train our brains to spot God's faithfulness everywhere!

Let’s not forget that waiting on God with our money isn't about doing nothing. It's about actively trusting Him while doing our part.

As we practice this, we'll find our peace comes less from our bank balances and more from trusting God's unlimited resources. Even when it feels like we're barely treading water financially, He's there, ready to throw us a lifeline. It might not come in the form we expect, but let’s keep our eyes open for His provision!

God sees you in your victories and your struggles. He hasn't forgotten you.
