Mentoring Lessons- Leadership Transitionਨਮੂਨਾ

Don’t retire – continue on!
If you’ve retired from your sport, have you considered opportunities to keep serving?
It can start small! A team of just five former professional sport players traveled to serve the professional players of a different sport in two other countries. They demonstrated the skills of their different sports, laughing and having fun together.
The faith of the visiting players had an immediate impact in those countries. The players on the different teams began to build spiritual friendships and accountability.
In the year after the visit over 60 local players and spouses had their first faith and sports conference. The head of the sports federation and more than 20 players also traveled to learn more at an international sports conference. Momentum grew.
Today, visiting active and retired sportspersons can serve as seed planters in thousands of cities and communities in over 200 countries.
1 Corinthians 3:6-7
I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
You may plant, or you may water, but remember it is God who will cause your labor to grow.
