Once upon a time, in a land filled with towering mountains and deep valleys, there lived a girl named Lily. Lily loved exploring the vast landscapes around her home, marveling at the wonders of creation. One day, while wandering through a lush meadow, Lily stumbled upon a beautiful, sparkling stream. Sitting by the water, she began to think about how vast and beautiful the world is.

“Just like this stream and these mountains, God’s love is vast and beautiful,” Lily’s mother had often told her. “And just like the sun that rises every morning, God’s love is constant and unchanging.”

Lily thought about these words as she watched the stream flow endlessly. She realized that God’s love is all around us—in the beauty of nature, the laughter of friends, and even in the quiet moments when we feel alone.

Dear girls,

Did you know that God’s love for us is so big and so deep that it’s hard to fully understand? It's like trying to imagine how big the ocean is or how many stars are in the sky. God’s love is unconditional, which means He loves us no matter what. Even on days when we feel sad or make mistakes, God's love is there, steady and unchanging.

Imagine the greatest love you can think of—maybe it’s the love your parents have for you or the love you have for your closest friend. God’s love is even greater than that! He loved us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to be with us and to show us just how endless His love is.

Can you think of a time when you felt loved and cared for? How can that help you understand God's love for you?

Prayer:

Dear God,

Thank you for loving us so much. Help us to understand and feel Your love every day. Teach us to see Your love in everything around us—the laughter of our friends, the care of our families, and the beauty of Your creation. Help us to love others the way You love us.

Draw a picture of something that reminds you of God’s love. It could be the sun shining, a family hug, or anything else that makes you feel loved and happy.
