Am I Important to Someone?Sample
David knew very well the difference between feeling despised and loved. David knew very well that the crown he wore came from a decision of God and that approval came from heaven. He knew that his future and his dynasty had all the certainty that it would be worth it and that everything would be fine because He is the great God, the God who sustains the universe, and was the one who said everything.
However, David knew what it was like to feel despised. Since his family did not want him, the people would also reject him. His own king, whom he took care of, did not feel safe with David and, therefore, also rejected him.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, something glimmers in his life that makes him see that he has value and that everything will be very well. God calls him and shows him his future, a future with Him.
"Why am I important to you?" David says in 2 Samuel 7:18 PDT. No one has treated him with love for a long time and the king of heaven and earth shows him unconditional love and gives him a magnificent promise.
Maybe this world hasn't treated you very well, but God appears and shows you your present and future with Him.
Important to God means that you are full of honor, love, and beautiful promises and that you can wear that crown with courage and peace because that crown was not put on you by man; it was put on you by God.
It may be unfair in the eyes of man, but for God, it is a matter of love.
Today, you can say:
Thank you, God, because I am important to you. It's okay if someone sees it well, and if they don't, I'm still important to you. For every good gift and perfect gift comes from Him.
About this Plan
"Who matters to?" is a question we all must answer at some point. However, the answer lies within another question, so when this world challenges us to answer, God already has an answer waiting.
