Day 3: Nourish Your Soul

What we feed our soul directly impacts our thoughts and words. "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." If the menu you're eating of consists of the news cycle, gossip, and socials, you're probably not going to be producing a lot of healthy outcomes. Just like we develop a taste for healthy things in the natural, it's the same with spiritual things. It's a discipline until it becomes a delight.

This week is a great opportunity to develop taste buds for finer things and "eat clean" by feasting on the word, worship, adoring Jesus, fellowship with the saints, playing with your kids, and spending time with your spouse.

Fast: Negative sources that pollute your inner-man.

Feast: Look at Him! Set your gaze on life-giving truth from the word!
