You are the light of the world!

Scripture:

“Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 TPT

Reflection:

If you have a desire to reach the lost with the light and the power of your story, then you are in the right place.

Don’t believe the lie that is prideful to want to write a book to share your story. The truth is that we are called to be stewards of truth. Our testimonies are part of who we are and what we carry. Jesus said that we are the light of the world.

Your story matters. Someone is sitting in darkness that needs the light that you carry.

Activation:

Do you have a dream for the book you want to write? What would you like to see happen in the world as a result of sharing your story? Write down the desires of your heart. Ask the Lord to share His desires for you too.

Make this your declaration:

Jesus said that I am the light of the world. He has given me His endorsement to shine brightly.

Prayer:

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for helping me steward my story. Thank you for your love that empowers me to shine. Give me the wisdom I need to faithfully steward the words you have written on my heart.
