Do You Want To Experience God’s Peace Today?

You may relate to Martha. You find worry stealing your ability to be present and peaceful in your everyday life.

Worry often steals our ability to feel joyful and connected to the people and environment around us. In Matthew 6, Jesus shows how He already knows what we are worried about. He shares how God the Father takes great care of the needs of the flowers of the field and the birds of the air. The Father loves and cares for you so much more than them.

He compassionately reminds us that the Father knows our needs for clothes, food, and shelter, and He takes care of those. Through His Spirit living in your heart, you are never alone in your concerns for tomorrow.

You can replace your anxious thoughts with Philippians 4:6. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

Today, grab a journal and express your concerns and feelings of worry to Him. While you do so, concentrate on Philippians 4:8, “...Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Then the God of peace will be with you.”

Listen to this encouraging passage:

He is trustworthy. As you seek His voice, you will experience His peace defined in your heart instead of your worries.
