The Identity of Christ as the Light of the Worldਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 1 Devotional
The Identity of Christ
The story of Jesus healing a man who had been born blind occupies the entire ninth chapter of John’s Gospel.
John considered this story to be important enough to give it this much attention in his Gospel because he saw this miracle first as, a revelation of the real identity of Christ, second, as showing the different responses that people bring to Christ and His gospel, and third, as showing us the result of seeing the identity of Christ as the light of the world.
Throughout this 5-Day Plan, from John 9:1-41, we’ll explore how these 3R’s about Jesus healing the blind man reveal to us the real identity of the Christ of the Gospels so that we too can decide for ourselves how we should respond to Him and His gospel.
