Honor (verb): to regard with great respect; to prize; to revere

In John 8, Jesus faces a bunch of people challenging Him about being the Messiah. They're hung up on where He's from. It's like they say they believe in God and the old prophets, but Jesus points out there's a big difference between just saying you believe and living out God's words.
