Lord, we cannot wait for the day when we will be reunited with you. No more pain, sickness, heartbreak, just complete love. While we are here on earth, we pray to know that our work is not done in vain when it is done for you. We pray to focus on the responsibilities you have given us, not what you have given others. Our work matters no matter who sees the work because we are growing your kingdom. We pray for a godly confidence to do what you have asked of us without comparison or hesitation. We pray for discernment from the Holy Spirit to know what is a calling from you. We thank you for being a God who has never forgotten about his children and makes a way for us. We love you, amen.

God honors discipline. If you have grown mundane to the everyday tasks that you accomplish, take some time to think about everything you do. God sees you cleaning, exercising, reading, making dinners, changing diapers, etc. Although it can feel like what we are doing has no meaning, God sees the hard work and will honor it.
