God Desires to Speak to You Through DreamsSample
Day 1: The importance of dreams to God
Do you know why King Solomon is known in the Bible? What comes up most often is, the gift of wisdom that no one on earth will have seen so great. Jesus was superior in wisdom, being himself wisdom incarnate. Solomon received this gift from God, but we could forget how he received it... in a dream! In one night Solomon's life was turned upside down by a dream from God.
We could continue with the first dreamer in the Bible: Abraham. The covenant between God and Abraham was also made through a dream. We can read the Scriptures and not pay attention to the way God communicates. Night visions (dreams) have an important place in God's heart. As we look at the Scriptures, we see that night visions have always been a channel for God to speak to us.
I would like to tell you that God also wants to speak to you through dreams. Not all dreams come from God, however, but God can use this channel of communication to speak to you. It has nothing to do with whether you are dreaming or not, the dreams that come from God are sent by him. The only thing he asks of us is a thirst to restore the culture of dreaming in our lives, to expect him to speak to us in our sleep.
Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.” So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind. Genesis 37:9-11
This text, despite the obvious family dysfunctions (favoritism, aggressiveness...), represents in my opinion what the culture of the dream is.
I invite you to pray with me:
Lord, I recognize that dreams have always been a channel you love to use to speak to your children. I desire that you speak to me through dreams. I desire, before I go to bed, to remember that you desire to speak to me even when I am asleep. I’m thirsty to restore and cultivate the culture of dreams in my life. In the name of Jesus, amen.

About this Plan
I believe that every Christian can claim to receive dreams from God with the ability to interpret them. Here, briefly, is my take on the subject. It's all based on the promise of Joel 3:1.
