Called to Action

God has called us to be His hands and feet in the Earth – the Church in the wilderness, not just to survive, but to thrive. We are called to take action, to be a light in the darkness, and to share the hope we have in Jesus. Walking in our collective calling can feel overwhelming at times.

Do I have the courage to pray with this homeless person in public?
Should I tell this stranger that I love them and that Jesus loves them?
Should I invite that person I barely know to go grab coffee?

Let's be intentional about how we live our lives and seize every opportunity to share the love of Christ.

Questions:

1. In what ways have I been complacent or inactive in serving others and fulfilling God's call to action in my life?
2. Am I using my gifts and resources to make a positive impact in the lives of those around me, or am I focused solely on my own interests and desires?

Action: Identify one action you feel called to take, and take a step toward making it a reality. Pray for God's guidance and courage as you take action.
