Lets say you wanted to start a movement. Not just a group or club, but a worldwide revolution. Not hundreds or thousands of people, but billions of people. Something that would impact the earth for thousands of years.

You’d probably get the highest caliber of people from athlete-spokesmen to branding experts to get the word out. Websites, social media, all proclaiming your movement from the rooftops!

But God doesn't take this approach. Not even close. In fact, he seems to setup an impossible situation for starting his movement.

Jesus is born as a fragile baby, to an unmarried teen mother. He enters history in one of the worst neighborhoods with no money or opportunities. He was born in a barn in a time in history with no way to communicate to the masses. No TV, radio, or even a printing press. There isn't even Snapchat or pour-over coffee. It is literally the worst way you can imagine!

But God thrives in the impossible. Our movement began on the foundation of the miraculous. God built a scenario that was literally impossible to conquer, and he conquered it.

The Church is built on the grass-roots, humble beginnings of an unassuming situation and bust into history as a servant to all. 

Prayer: Jesus, thank you that you specialize in working in the impossible. Thank you that you came in humility. Give me that same humility as I interact with my neighbors, friends and those in my church. Amen.
