Becoming a Son That Pleases the FatherSample
WHAT WOULD YOU GIVE UP FOR THE FATHER?
Hebrews 11 speaks of men of faith and their great exploits with God. However, that chapter also contained the testimonies of men who went through great trials and pains. Until your Christianity costs you something, you are not worth much. I pray that you will join this class of men and women that God regards this world as not worthy of. I pray that the book that contains the account of such men and women will not be closed until your account and mine are added.
The first leg of your decision is to establish a relationship with the Father and become a part of the Kingdom. If you don’t have a relationship with God, this is the best time to correct that and let Jesus into your life. If you are already a member of the family of God, at what level will you operate? Will you operate at the level of acceptance by the Father, or will you move to the level of approval by the Father? Make that decision today and date it in your Bible.
Are you planning to travel overseas for a better life or a higher assignment from Jesus? Can God guarantee that while you are working in any part of the world, you are also giving the gospel to them? Why did God give you your physical features, your great command of English, your internet prowess, or your education? They are all to glorify Him by doing His will.
PRAYER: I receive the grace to give up everything that will stop or deny me the privilege of joining the cloud of witnesses for God in Jesus’ name. Amen!
