I AM a Ready Woman: A Morning Meditation Series From Manifesther DailySample

As women, we naturally innovate. My mother could make new costumes out of old items around the house, and she could make an amazing dinner from leftovers. She innovated to create solutions when she didn’t have enough. However, God IS our solution, and He is our “enough.” God is a Master at flipping our script and becoming what we need at any moment.

In Exodus 3:14, God proclaims, “I AM that I AM.” The Hebrew translation reads, “He who becometh”—meaning God can become anything you need at any moment.

When God led me to begin posting my devotionals on social media, I was comfortable with that direction. It felt like a normal part of my routine, as I often sent these devotionals to my friends, anyway. However, when God changed my routine and led me to start going live on various platforms, I was so tremendously uncomfortable. As I first went live, I pointed the camera at PowerPoint slides just to avoid showing my face! However, God intended for me to be 100% obedient to His call, and, ultimately, I surrendered, and, in my surrender, He became what I needed as I received His courage. The blessings that followed have been indescribable. He was everything I needed to succeed in that moment.

God is looking for a woman who is ready to surrender her will for His. He’s looking for your agreement. He wants to come into unity with you so that you benefit from His presence. The more unified you are WITH God, the closer you are TO God. When you are intentionally close to God, He comforts you and blesses you. He elevates you, and He causes you to experience His fulfillment of every need you have.

When I went through a difficult time in my marriage, I ran to God instead of away from Him. I felt like my life was falling apart, but God began to cause everything to fall into place. He led me to Isaiah 54:5, which says, “For your Creator will be your husband; the LORD of Heaven’s Armies is his name!” God made this verse literal and tangible in my life as He stepped in, doubling my income, holding my house together, lightening my load, and making my path easier, just as a husband should. He became what I needed, fulfilling my needs.

Realize that your agreement with God only serves to bring you closer to Him, closer to His presence, and closer to the benefits of being God’s daughter. Jesus is all of the above and He’s also anything you need at any moment.

Today’s Affirmation

I am beginning to see God performing miracles in my life. God is making a way out of no way and drawing me closer to Him. As I move closer to God, I can feel the warmth of His presence. It is reassuring, calming, and loving. It is fulfilling and all that I need. I am enriched and elevated in His presence. I am so thankful that I am God’s daughter.
