Who Am ISample

A tandem bicycle is a bike with two seats. One rider sits in the front, one rider sits in the back, and both riders pedal. The two riders are on the same journey. They’re moving in the same direction together. It’s a picture of the reality of our life. When we choose to follow Jesus, His very Spirit comes to live inside of us. That means God is as close to us as He can get. Then, life becomes a tandem journey. We are never alone. Everything we experience, we experience with God Himself living inside of us. We walk into a room, God is with us. We toss and turn in our bed trying to sleep, God is with us. We’re in the middle of an argument, God is with us. God’s Spirit can lead and guide us as we go along. He can whisper the truth of who we are as children of God when we need it most!

So, do your best to live in light of this reality. Tune into your closest Friend. Ask God to help you recognize and hear His voice. Ask God to show you what it means to go through life on a tandem journey. He’s moved into your heart so the two of you can do just that.
