Eden

Perfect union with God has been restored as it was originally intended in Eden through the resurrection power of Christ and His ultimate victory over death. Eden...it was the beautiful oasis God placed the perfection of His creation into. It was more than a garden bearing intricate and perfect creation. It was a way of life where His beloved could walk, converse, and be in ultimate communion with Him. Perfect peace and harmony met with a sweet kiss until, of course, THAT moment that changed history occurred.

Fast forward from that one tree where the degradation and fall of humanity began and where our damned separation from the perfect intention of Creator God became our new reality, to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, giving His all on another tree to restore to us the original intent of Eden. Perfect union with God.

It was because of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus, where violence and evil appeared to claim victory once and for all, that He took back the keys to death and set us free to experience the perfection of Eden in our everyday lives.

God is leading you back to Eden. It isn’t a physical place; rather, it’s a position of the heart. He’s calling you to walk with Him and experience an intimacy with Him just like in the garden, where He speaks words of life over you and where streams of His peace renew your soul.

Takeaway challenge: Posture yourself for intimacy with God. Remind yourself as you listen to "Eden" that you have total access to the place where God restored perfect union with us.
