The Alpha and the Omega Cares About You
When it seems like evil and trouble are on every side, just remember who your God is. He is attentive to your prayers, even when it seems like He doesn’t hear them. “Have you not known? Have you not heard that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint, nor is He weary?… He gives power to the faint, And to those who have no might He increases strength…but those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint” (Isa. 40:28–31).
Those who look with confidence to the Alpha and Omega shall renew their strength and shall not grow weary. Jesus, who is the Alpha and Omega, is intimately aware of your every need and struggle. He will fill you with His strength and carry you in His bosom. Remember, “For He has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?’” (Heb. 13:5–6, MEV). Glory be to God and to His Son Jesus, who is the Alpha and Omega. Let our hearts and minds be filled with the bigness of our God.
[But] in the last of these days He has spoken to us in [the person of a] Son, Whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through Whom He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time [He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order]. He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power—HEBREWS 1:2–3 AMPC
The One who loves us is the Alpha and Omega. He is preeminent above all things. He who measures the universe with the span of His hand has you ever before His face.
